Valentines Wreath #1

I am going to try and post 1 Valentine idea a day until February 14.

This is a combination of a few ideas I saw online. But the main inspiration for making a heart wreath came from Fancy Nancy Heart to Heart

In the book Nancy makes a wreath of hearts.

I typed "love" in several fonts (copied and pasted over and over) in Word until it filled the entire page and printed it out. Then I watered down some red paint and C painted on the paper. I later added white so it would be red and pink, but it mostly ended up being pink. When the paint dried I cut  out several hearts. I cut out a circle from a cracker box and helped C glue the hearts on to make a wreath. We plan on making a few more wreaths, this one will be sent to one C's Grandparents.

  1. Cute idea!!! :) I love how you did art on something rather than blank paper, adding a whole new dimension. We may have to try this one out. Thanks for sharing!
